My Story: My Name is Dahnah I am 19 years old and I live in Germany. That may not sound very special and for sure it isn’t. So you could ask yourself the question: what is special about this blog? Its a travel blog about the journeys I made and the experiences I collected. I started travelling when i was only seven years old. The first country my parents took me was India. A lot of people where shocked when they heard that my parents took me and my sister, who was only four years at the time on a six week backpacking tour through India. But I loved it and I think it marked my whole life ever after. After this a lot of journeys mostly from 4-6 weeks around Asia followed. All my journeys I will list below.

As a backpacker family we travelled across countries. We lived in all kinds of hostels, hotels and bungalows and enjoyed the easy life. Sometimes it was really rough but in the end we collected so much experience and beauty all over the globe. We met many different types of people and even made good friends along the way. We had encounters that touched our soul and hearts. I saw poverty at a very young age and thats why I want to help people and do something for the world and all nations. Those journeys made me who I am today and I want to give my knowledge to you.
In 2016 I finished school and got my A-Level. In the last years I did a lot of internships in different areas. I learned how to plant trees, worked on a vineyard and on a horse range. For a few weeks I had an internship as a Texter for a advertising agency (rundum
kommunikation und design) and as a social worker at a school in Berlin with a new and challenging school system. The kids learned to teach them selves, they work in social areas and have the change to go abroad for a few month. In summer I work at a child program for refugee kids. But the job of my dreams is to become an Author. I loved writing ever since I could write. When I was younger I used to tell stories to myself. When I got older I started to write my stories down and I went to a Writing sessions with many more writers and an Author who teaches us in Berlin. I already published one short story in an anthology in German. If you a interested you can buy it here : http://www.verlag-junger-autoren.de/sortiment/neuerscheinungen/ (it is called: Mit den Segeln voll Morgenrot, ISBN: 978-3-935214-37-7). Another story will be published soon and I will start to study online until my around-the-world trip.
I also want to blog a few food posts occasionally because I loved to cook and try new recipes. I was raised vegetarian and even my parents gave me the chance to eat what I want I always stayed vegetarian and I never could be anything else. Half of the time I live vegan. I did a cooking class in Thailand for rawvegan food and took some vegetarian Thai cooking classes and I would love to tell you more about this lifestyle as well. Spirituality and different kinds of healing are also things I learned along my way. I tried Yoga, holotropic breath work, all kinds of meditation and different practics from Osho.
I hope you will find some useful informations for your life and your journeys here and that you will feel what I felt. I am looking forward to hear from you.
